Juliet Swedlund is a life-long learner with experience in and appreciation for effective listening, radical empathy, and understanding trauma and healing-centered care. She was trained as a doula, childbirth educator, and in When Survivors Give Birth at the Simkin Center. Juliet is most passionate about improving experiences and outcomes for people during pregnancy, labor and birth, and the transition into parenthood by addressing systemic failures due to racism, sexism, and bigotry.
