Kicki Hansard is a certified birth and postnatal doula, author, and experienced course facilitator with over two decades of service in pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. Since becoming a doula in 2002, she has supported hundreds of families through the transformative journey of childbirth and the postnatal period. As the founder of The BirthBliss Academy, Kicki has trained more than 1,000 doulas and continues to mentor new and aspiring birth workers with compassion, insight, and professionalism. Her teaching is rooted in trauma-informed care and the belief that everyone deserves respectful, individualised support. Originally from Swedish Lapland and now based in the UK, Kicki is passionate about improving outcomes in birth and the postnatal period through education, empathy, and skilled support.
